How we help
How do we do this?
‘Becoming a better leader’ is not the end goal—it is an outcome.
So, if you have questions, like how to…
Lead effectively in an uncertain world
Lead change through uncharted territory
Be successful as a new leader
Become a people leader and not just be ‘technical’
Create an environment where everyone can become a leader
Inspire remote teams to be more engaged and productive
Define and model what it is to ‘be authentic’
Become more aligned, more balanced, and more fulfilled
…we at Zenshin will work with you to define your goals so that in the end, you can achieve these kinds of outcomes in a lasting and profound way.
What you get
We typically measure your results using a variety of tools:
ROE (return on expectations)
‘Stickiness’
Wellness scores
For ROE, or ‘return on expectations’, we document up-front your expectations and compare those against outcomes after the coaching program is complete. This will include ‘impact statements’ from relevant co-workers and personal contacts, as appropriate.
‘Stickiness’ measures how well the coaching outcomes become habits. We review at either 6 or 12 months after completing the coaching program to ensure that outcomes have remained an enduring part of the leader’s or team’s way of being. If, for some reason, they have slipped, we offer a no-cost make-up session to re-calibrate and put things back on track.
Finally, we use wellness scores to compare pre-coaching program wellness levels with those after the coaching program ends.

The basic building blocks align with Zenshin’s philosophy of leadership coaching that sees you for your whole self—not just your job title. These building blocks can be applied to either individual or team-based leadership coaching.
The core of our offerings is the combination of ‘work-related’ and ‘personal-related’ coaching. We discuss your desired outcomes and together, tailor a package that chooses from these 2 groupings. If you want to go further, we offer you integrated access to ‘alternative approaches’, such as meditation and breath work, or a nutritionist. We even can take on an advisory role and consult on behalf of your business—if that is what is best for you and your organization.
Why do we offer ‘alternative approaches’ to coaching?
Well, it goes back to the Zenshin philosophy. We are all people first, workers second.
Leadership is a privilege and requires us to be authentic to have the positive impact we want in the world. That requires us to first look at ourselves—our whole selves. For example, your diet may be making you feel lethargic and preventing you from bringing your full energy to your leadership game. If that is the case, then you need to look at how to up your game through addressing your energy levels—and your diet.
Individual leadership coaching
You are a CxO or senior executive.
You own a business.
You sit on the board of a business. Or three.
You are a high performer and want to take that next step in your growth.
Then Zenshin can help you.
So, what is the process we typically follow to define your desired outcomes?
What are your desired outcomes?
What kinds of goals and actions will get you there?
Which style works best for you to achieve these outcomes?
What could possibly get in your way?
How will we measure success?
What are your strengths, values and passions?
What thoughts, perceptions or habits serve you?
Which ones no longer serve you?
How does your work persona impact your private life? Vice versa?
What are your current leadership and wellness benchmarks?
How can you better use your strengths?
How will that align with your values and passions?
What things that are you holding you back will you cast aside?
What will you do in your private life to enable this growth?
What specific actions will you commit to for this to become reality?
How is this new mindset and behaviour changing your view of yourself?
How is it changing how others perceive you?
How has this impacted your performance at work?
The performance of your team or organization?
How has this impacted your overall well-being and your private life?

Team-based leadership coaching
What we can do for individuals, we can quickly multiply for teams in terms of impact.
We help boards, senior management teams, functional and project-based teams, and whole organizations take on new ways of working.
Zenshin can tailor a specific program for you based on your team or organization size and the kind of positive change you would like to bring about. Effective teams need authentic leaders—and authenticity comes from within. That’s why we start there, laying the foundation for a new way of interacting with team members and colleagues.
We can also help the growing number of distributed teams take on new ways of working.
Leading in a distributed team environment is particularly relevant now. Old styles of leadership don’t resonate the same way over a Zoom call or when people cannot physically interact in the lunch room. This calls for new ways of thinking—and being—that eclipse anything we have seen before. Ask us to find out more.
